Praying for one another

Most Christians are not prayed for regularly by anyone. Pretty much, we are on our own. What would happen if we DID pray for one another? Several of our Doorkeepers pray for me and the prayer seminar ministry every day. In my youth, there was a song that was sung in our churches. It acknowledged that "I need the prayers of those I love." Then one phrase that really touched my heart was "I want my friends to pray for me, to intercede for me." One practical suggestion that is given in a prayer seminar is to take time to assign two members to pray for each other for a month. Next month, change partners. I firmly believe this would make a difference. Having lived my seven decades and two years beyond and having been in the ministry for fifty-four years, I still cry: "I need the prayers of those I love. I want my friends to pray for me." Be sure and pray for your family members. If you are not praying for your children, or grandchildren, or great grandchildren, no one else is!
